Three Things
Evo Morales to meet with Condoleeza Rice in Chile. The Bolivian President requested that the meeting deal primarily on economic issues. The meeting will take place in Chile, where the U.S. secretary of state will attend the inauguration of the new Chilean President.
If you are a fan of indie-pop, download the NPR broadcast of the Scottish supergroup Belle & Sebastian. I attended the Sunday night show it was one of the top 10 concerts I have attended. They weren't the hipsters that I fully expected, but rather a laid back group that didn't take themselves too seriously. Their new album "the Life Pursuit" is one the year's best so far.
I'm off to the Dominican Republic early tomorrow morning to visit a cousin who recently moved to the capital. It's my first time to the Caribbean and am looking forward to seeing another part of Latin America.
