New Polls

I like being the first to post about the newest polls because that almost guarantees me being included in Bloggings by Boz's weekly poll recap. Well, not entirely because this recent poll is interesting in itself because it shows how someone can support the overall concept of a MAS presidency and not agree with all of the policy decisions. Even those who really do not like the idea of Evo Morales in office can at least applaud some of the new decisions.

Currently President Evo Morales' approval rate across the board is 74% and the early moves are already drawing favorable and not-so-favorable reaction.

"Do you agree with President-elect Evo Morales' decision to not follow through with the "zero coca" plan?

Agree - 47%
Disagree - 40%

"Do you agree with President-elect Evo Morales' decision to reduce the salaries of President, Vice-President, ministers, vice-ministers, legislators and congresspersons?

Agree - 93%
Disagree - 5%

The poll was conducted by Apoyo, Opinión y Mercado Bolivia in the four principal cities of La Paz, Santa Cruz, Cochabamba and El Alto.
