New Cabinet

The official government information agency released the names of Morales' new Cabinet:

Ministry of External Relations and Culture - David Choquehuanca
Ministry of the Presidency – Juan Ramón Quintana
Ministry of the Government – Alicia Muñóz
Ministry of Defense – Walker San Miguel
Ministry of Internal Revenue – Luis Alberto Arce
Ministry of Sustainable Development - Carlos Villegas
Ministry of Economic Development – Celinda Sosa
Ministry of Public Works and Services – Salvador Riera
Ministry of Hydrocarbons – Andrés Soliz Rada
Ministry of Education - Felix Patzi
Ministry of Health and Sports – Nila Heredia
Ministry of Labor - Santiago Alvez
Ministry of “Peasant” Affairs and Agriculture - Hugo Salvatierra
Ministry of Mines and Metals - Walter Villarroel
Ministry of Justice - Casimira Rodríguez
Ministry of Water - Abel Mamani

The biggest surprise was, by far, Abel Mamani, who is the controversial leader of the neighborhood associations from El Alto and will not head up the first-ever Ministry of Water. Also, many expected Jorge Alvarado, who ran for Prefect in Cochabamba, to become the Minister of Hydrocarbons.

Only 2 cruceños? They´ll be angry about that.
