As you can probably tell, I am intrigued by public transportation in India. When I stepped off the Delhi Metro, I knew the Red Fort tourist attraction was in the general vicinity, but wasn’t sure in what direction and what distance away. Roads are not clearly marked, so I hired this rickshaw driver to take me there. This open aired vehicle placed me right smack dab in the middle of Delhi traffic. Since rickshaws allow me to sit considerably higher up in the air than autorickshaws or taxis, I felt as if I were observing the action from my perch.
